Outpatient services
Ambulatory consultations and therapies, radiological exams, radiotherapy, chemotherapies or molecular targeted therapies are covered by the basic health insurance. The costs are reimbursed to persons of all insurance categories (minus franchise and deductible).
Day surgery
Minor surgical procedures are usually performed in so-called day surgery. The patient leaves the clinic just a few hours after the surgical procedure. These benefits are covered by basic insurance.
Inpatient hospital stay
Inpatient benefits are covered by supplementary hospital insurance (private/semi-private) and compulsory health or accident insurance (less franchise and deductible).
